Uptown Marina
Lofts
Uptown Marina Lofts is among the first true loft-type residential buildings in the area. This ultra-hip, loft building has a very contemporary feel to it by virtue of its exposed architectural concrete elements, stained concrete floors, and industrial interior lobbies and corridors. The project is located in the historic “Thunderboat Alley,” where the former Cigarette boat facility once resided, and provides boat slips to residents as part of the building amenities. This location, an active neighborhood with limited access and close proximity to an elementary school, required that Coscan’s on-site team plan all activities and material deliveries to ensure public safety at all times.
