Jade Ocean
At 549 vertical feet, Jade Ocean is one of the tallest concrete structures in the eastern United States. This ultra-exclusive building was designed by world renowned architect, Carlos Ott. Extremely tight sight constraints, and site access issues required Coscan’s project team to plan each activity well ahead. Every delivery had to be carefully organized, as no room on-site existed for stored materials. Worker parking is in an off-site remote lot with all workers bused in on Coscan shuttle vehicles. Jade Ocean is the only high rise condominium building in South Florida completely clad with a curtain wall system. This system requires exacting tolerances in the concrete work and close coordination with other key trades, as well as a dedicated tower crane to service it while the concrete structure proceeds.
